“A brilliant local takeaway and an even better occasional restaurant visit!”

Always friendly and cannot do enough for you. Been using Sangri as my local (too frequent) takeaway for over a year and not only have I never had a bad takeaway, it is always fantastic and full of rich flavour.

Definitely worth visiting for eat in, especially on sun-tue when they have a money saving deal on. Food is even better when eaten in. Top quality ingredients and prepared to a very high standard.

“Great Take Away”

Had a take away from Sanfri last night - great value, lovely meal, even threw in a free bottle of wine. Six of us all ordered different food and all agreed how nice it was.

We've eaten here and taken away on numerous times. Slightly more pricey than the average Indian Restaurant by a pound or so but far from being an average Indian Restaurant. Lots of choice without being overwhelmed and always dishes that you don't finnd anywhere else. Highly recommended.

“Fantastic unusual food, great atmos”

Been here twice now and really want to recommend it to others. The food is absolutely delicious with really complex flavours and really fun presentation. Waiters are attentive and lovely, called my hubby when I forgot my phone. Restaurant has nice decor and atmosphere was buzzing last night ( a Friday) Try it you will love it! I can't wait to go back and try the cocktails. Meal for 5 with beer cost £100. Very good value.

“Can't wait to go again!”

Had a fantastic meal at Sangri! Decor is fresh and new compared to the Greek and Vegetarian restaurants that used to stand in its place. Good selection of wines & beers. Even cocktails which I’ve not seen in an Indian restaurant before. The menu’s laid out simply; not crammed with dishes and fussy like a typical Indian menu.

We each tried something different, and they were all superb, particularly the selection of fish dishes. Makes a nice difference from lamb or chicken. The “Signature” dishes are amazing, I had a fantastic fish platter. All absolutely gorgeous! Food was beautifully presented. Better than I have been served elsewhere recently.

Staff are friendly and were happy to advise on dishes. Poppadums were served with a great selection of freshly made dips & onion salad. My mouth is watering again just thinking about it! We've already booked to go again!

Went there with my wife on a Friday evening and had one of the best meals out for a very long time!! Staff very friendly and knowledgeable about the food served, attentive and the food was out of this world! Both the presentation, quantity and flavour exceeded our expectations - even after the glowing recommendations from our friends!

We'll be back for there for our next meal out...

"One word... Perfect!!"

This is the best restaurant that I have been to as yet. The service was excellent and had a very friendly atmosphere. The food was what I describe as... Perfect. The bottle of Wine was only £9.95 and it was of a high quality Wine. A pint of Kingfisher is only £3.50! The waiters were very friendly and helped me when I needed a recommendation for the food. There really was no need for recommendation because every time I have been there, all the food has been mouth-watering.

It is a very contemporary restaurant and not like the traditional places that we tend to go to. The presentation of the food is such that you don't want to ruin it but when it goes in your mouth... it's a complete different sensation.

One word... Perfect!!

"My curry was served in a bird made from silver foil - amazing!"

We had been meaning to go here for ages as it looks lovely from the outside. It is well worth it! I am not a massive Indian food fan and in the past struggled to find a dish I really liked. But now I have found a dish I LOVE!! The signature dishes are amazing. And the presentation of the food was beautiful. My curry was served in a bird made from silver foil - amazing!

The staff are friendly and attentive. The decor is lovely, and it was just a nice relaxing dinner. The Indian across the road is so dated and so generic. Sangri really stands out from the crowd!

Can't wait to go back.
