Our a la carte menu provides a taste of traditional regional cooking as well as
contemporary cooking as it is today in India. The menu at Sangri has been evolving
since we opened in 2008, so it's a work in progress.

Diced chicken or meat in a tomato and onion pureed sauce-full
of South Indian spices
Giant prawns from the bay of Bengal are baked in the clay oven.
Then gently simmered in spicy medium thick bhuna sauces shallot
nutmeg and ajowan seeds.

A medium hot dish with green herbs, tomatoes in a rich sauce

Kurma£10.95

cooked with cream and coconut to produce a very mild dish
This is a fairly thick, tomato based sauce with slices of onions
and capsicum. flavoured with garlic, ginger and selection of spices

A drier curry packed with spicy flavours
An essential style of cooking that is almost like stir fry The whole
dish is cooked in the karahi and then served in the dish, enabling
the flavours to Infuse with one another
